Advanced Project Scheduling and PMI-SP® Exam Preparation is a dual-purpose specialist programme. It develops the workplace capability to create, analyse, challenge, communicate and control credible project schedules while also preparing eligible candidates for the PMI Scheduling Professional examination.

The programme is software independent. Participants learn the underlying scheduling logic and decision principles that apply across tools, including network integrity, critical-path analysis, constraints, calendars, resources, risk, progress measurement, forecasting and forensic review.

Certification candidates also complete a readiness diagnostic, domain-based review, scenario questions, timed practice and a personal revision plan. The programme does not guarantee PMI eligibility, application acceptance or examination success.

What is the current PMI-SP® examination format?

PMI currently states that the examination contains 170 multiple-choice questions and allows 210 minutes. The examination is currently offered in English.

What domains are covered?

The current domains are Schedule Strategy, Schedule Planning and Development, Schedule Monitoring and Controlling, Schedule Closeout, and Stakeholder Communications Management.

Is this course only for certification candidates?

No. The programme is also an advanced workplace scheduling course. Participants who are not pursuing PMI-SP® can focus on the applied schedule development, quality, risk, control and forensic content.

Is the course tied to one scheduling software package?

No. The core methods are software independent. Corporate delivery may add tool-specific exercises where the required software and participant capability are available.

Does this course automatically satisfy PMI’s scheduling-education requirement?
