Which handbook edition is the current knowledge exam based on?

INCOSE states that from 15 March 2025 the knowledge examination is based on the Systems Engineering Handbook Fifth Edition. Candidates should still verify current requirements before their exam date.

What is the current exam format?

INCOSE describes 100 scored multiple-choice questions and may include additional unscored beta questions. A standard computer exam is 120 questions in 120 minutes, with one correct answer per question. Candidates should confirm current details directly with INCOSE.

Does this course grant ASEP or CSEP certification?

No. It prepares participants for the knowledge examination. Certification is awarded by INCOSE subject to its current examination, application, experience and other requirements.
