Course overview
Build a systematic innovation management approach aligned with strategy and ISO 56001.
Innovation Strategy, Governance and ISO 56001 develops the management-system perspective needed to make innovation systematic. The course connects innovation intent, context, leadership, opportunities, portfolios, support, operations, evaluation and improvement, using ISO 56001:2024 as a requirements reference and ISO 56000:2025 for current innovation-management concepts and vocabulary.
Participants work through structured exercises and a realistic innovation challenge, progressively applying innovation management system context and principles, leadership, intent and strategy, planning, support and innovation operations and the later course modules to make evidence-based decisions rather than treating innovation tools as isolated techniques.
The course emphasises practical judgement, usable outputs and workplace transfer so that participants can apply the methods immediately after the programme and adapt them to their organisation’s strategy, governance and innovation environment.
