Advanced Improvement Leadership Programme

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt: Advanced DMAIC and Improvement Leadership

Lead complex improvement initiatives using advanced DMAIC, quantitative analysis, change leadership, team management and benefits control.

Lead high-value improvement with analytical depth, organisational judgement and accountable benefits.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt: Advanced DMAIC and Improvement Leadership develops the capability to lead complex, cross-functional improvement initiatives where process, data, technology, behaviour and governance interact.

Participants extend DMAIC into advanced measurement and analysis, experimental design, risk-based solution development, change leadership, financial benefit validation and the coaching of Green and Yellow Belt contributors.

The programme combines an advanced case with project-review gates and is best supported by a suitable workplace project, sponsor and access to reliable process and performance data.

What participants will be able to do.

  • Select and govern complex improvement projects with clear strategic and financial relevance.
  • Develop robust charters, stakeholder strategies and project-review governance.
  • Design reliable measurement and sampling approaches for complex processes.
  • Use advanced graphical, capability, hypothesis and modelling techniques appropriately.
  • Distinguish statistical significance from practical and business significance.
  • Design and interpret experiments that support defensible improvement decisions.
  • Integrate Lean flow, failure prevention, risk and solution optimisation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through resistance, conflict and implementation uncertainty.
  • Validate benefits, control performance and transfer ownership to the process.
  • Coach improvement practitioners and build organisational problem-solving capability.

Designed for professionals who need practical, context-aware capability.

  • Experienced Green Belts and improvement leaders.
  • Senior quality, operations and process-excellence professionals.
  • Engineers, analysts and transformation specialists.
  • Managers leading cross-functional performance improvement.
  • Practitioners responsible for coaching improvement teams.

6 integrated modules from foundation to workplace application.

Course information and participation.

Is Green Belt experience required?

Green Belt knowledge or equivalent applied DMAIC experience is strongly recommended because the programme builds on foundation and practitioner-level methods.

Does the course include advanced statistics?

Yes. The programme includes selected advanced analytical and experimental methods, always connected to practical improvement decisions and data limitations.

Is a workplace project required?

A suitable project is strongly recommended and may be mandatory for an applied or assessed organisational pathway. Requirements must be confirmed for the specific offering.

Can the programme be delivered in blocks?

Yes. The typical fifteen-day programme is normally structured in three blocks with practice, project work and review between sessions.

Does the course award a third-party Black Belt certification?

No automatic third-party credential is conferred. INDENTRA may issue a completion or internal assessment record where applicable, and any external examination or certification arrangement must be explicitly approved and stated.

Develop the analytical and leadership depth to lead complex improvement.

Discuss an advanced Black Belt cohort combining structured learning, project reviews, coaching and accountable workplace application.

INDENTRA may adapt sequencing, exercises and examples to suit the delivery format and participant profile while preserving the stated learning outcomes. Any external examination, accreditation or third-party certification arrangement applies only when explicitly confirmed for the specific offering.
